Akkus Foods is a privately owned company that produces sun dried tomatoes, pickles, brined goods, olives, capers, and canned goods for the wholesale food buyers and importers.

Having had its start as merchants in the agricultural products industry in 1981, the Company moved to caper production from wild-gathered capers for export in 1985.

In 1990, the Company started expanding into farm produce, organizing procurement and processing for a wide range of pickled, sun-dried and canned goods and olives.

The Company has various storage and production facilities around Turkey, with its main production facility in Halilbeyli Village near Izmir, Turkey.

Akkus Foods is:

• Licensed food producer
• Member of the Chamber of Industry for the Aegean Region
• Member of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce
• Member of the Izmir Agricultural Produce Bourse
• Member of the Aegean Exporters' Union

Akkus products are sold to Germany, Italy and Greece. These exports are done either directly by the Company, or indirectly via exporters specified by the buyer. The Company offers outsourcing services for companies wishing to have goods manufactured directly in Turkey.

The Company also offers Private Label services for importers that require special manufacturing in Turkey.
